Franz Schubert’s song cycle “Die Schöne Müllerin”, with Rhonda Buckley-Bishop, soprano saxophone, and Carl Banner, piano. Plus “Modal Song” by Stephen M. Cormier, for saxophone and piano, and solo piano works of Chopin: Ballade #3 in Ab, Op. 47, Nocturne in G, Op. 37#2, Etude in E, Op. 10 #3, and Fantasie in Fm, Op. 49.
BannerArts is at 7502 Flower Ave, Takoma Park MD. Admission is $20, advance only, plus dish or drink to share. Hosts will provide one main dish and wine. Limited to 25 guests.
